Heya! I’m izzie, and welcome to Bomba Bling. This is an Orlando-based, Latina-owned handmade & eco-conscious goods brand that’s evolved from several iterations since I got started making jewelry in 2019.

This whole journey began when I discovered the glorious world of Polymer clay and all the amazing things you can create with it. What started as a small hobby to make my own jewelry to match my clothes and accessories turned into a tiny business selling earrings to friends, family, and a little bit online.
Over time I learned so much more about the art of making jewelry and expanded my skills, materials, and knowledge. When Covid hit in 2020, just a few months after I started, everybody spent lockdown learning new skills and the handmade jewelry community exploded! While it was certainly awesome to see such a rise and appreciation of handmade goods, that meant a whole lot more competition in this new space.
Over the years my work with Bomba Bling has waxed and waned. I took several breaks, re-branded a few times, and struggled to really find a niche and style of my own.
I moved to Florida in 2022 and have been itching to get into the local farmer’s market scene for some time now. In the process of trying to narrow down what I wanted Bomba to be in this new, physical space, I hit a eureka moment. I’m an advocate of sustainability and a while back had an idea for a special collection featuring jewelry made from broken, lost-piece, and thrifted components. At the time I called it “Missing Left Earring”, and had a few sets made from leftover earrings who lost their partners along the way.
So I thought… why not make the plunge and pivot Bomba to focus predominately on up-cycling and sustainability?
That leads us to today. I’m not 100% there just yet, but I have so many ideas that I’m super excited about down the pipeline that I hope fans of handmade and eco-conscious goods will enjoy.

In the spirit of this new Bomba Bling, here’s the guiding principles I aim to follow over the coming months as I make the transition:
- Create unique, one or few-of a kind pieces featuring:
- Predominately up-cycled, thrifted, and second hand components
- Natural, sustainable materials as the base for certain pieces (think paintings on wood) whenever possible
- Use Eco-friendly options from 3rd party print-on-demand suppliers
- Avoid waste, and use up what I already have (which does mean some polymer clay and resin items until I get through my supply)
I hope you enjoy what you find! And thank you for shopping local and shopping small.
